I think sometimes we get an idea in our heads that someday we’ll have exercised “enough” and we’ll finally have a good body. This is particularly prominent for people who exercise solely for a goal of weight loss. 

The truth
Every year feels a little heavier and harder. As it should.
Why would I expect any different?
Do I not purposefully put myself under heavy and challenging loads in the gym so that I might learn more about myself and my strengths?
